SHIFT TO CHANGE - SHIFT TO BUILD

The relaunch path of the Exhibition District continues with the "Shift" event, featuring Umbriafiere and ITS Umbria Academy.

At Umbriafiere, the presentation of the training areas of ITS Umbria Academy and the inauguration of the first phase of the new pavilion on Tuesday, 30 June. After the launch of the strategic relaunch path in 2026 and the inauguration of the new self-service restaurant in March, Umbriafiere takes another step in its development process with the inauguration of the first construction phase of the new pavilion.

The occasion will be the "Shift" event, organized by Umbriafiere S.p.A. and ITS Umbria Academy, the post-diploma higher specialization academy that trains qualified technicians in close connection with the business world, scheduled for Tuesday, 30 June at the Bastia Umbra exhibition center.

The name chosen for the initiative recalls the concept of change: a shift in perspective, a passage toward a new phase of growth. This meaning fully represents the two organizations at the heart of the day, both committed to a path of innovation and development for the Umbrian territory.

The morning will be divided into two distinct moments. From 10 a.m. to 12 noon, in Sala Maschiella, "Shift to Change" will take place, with talks and experiences that will describe the polytechnic dimension of ITS Umbria Academy, including projects, innovation and visions for the future of training.

After the opening greetings by Antonio Forini, President of Umbriafiere, and Marco Giulietti, President of ITS Umbria Academy, representatives of the Academy's different training areas will speak, together with students and former students who will share their experiences. There will also be moments of discussion with entrepreneurs and professionals from the territory. The meeting will be moderated by journalist Giacomo Marinelli Andreoli and will conclude with a speech by the President of the Umbria Region, Stefania Proietti.

This will be followed by "Shift to Build", the moment dedicated to the official inauguration of the first phase of Umbriafiere's new pavilion, in the presence of institutions, partners and stakeholders. The ribbon cutting will represent the first important milestone of a project to expand and modernize the exhibition district, which will continue through subsequent development phases.
